PARENTS: Planned in advanced, a visit to a local art center, gallery or museum can be rewarding, exciting and stimulating for both parent and child. A child is much more likely to carry out her/his own idea than one suggested or imposed by an adult. A child may first play, with blocks by holding them and feeling their shapes. They try them in different positions, building up, balancing out, knocking them over, and starting again. MY WORD: Let your children lead you into their world of discovery. It's exciting.
